Snoqualme Valley

Coming back from looking at a Camp Caroline might go to, i saw the valley looked really nice so I pulled over and took a picture with my iphone. Then I ran it through an app that enhances the color, and then i tweeked the color again in picasa. I think it came out nice.

Good day for a drive up to Port Susan - its a calm protected bay off the Sound.

Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival

Port Townsend is quaint little Victorian town at the eastern entrance of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. It has a long history of boat building and fisheries. This is one of the largest wooden boat festival's in the country. The weather was perfect, it was a great day out on the water.

Pheonix Trip

After a long spring, we decided to go to PHX to warm up! had a good time, enjoyed the desert, and toured Taliasen West.

Banff and Glacier Trip

Great trip to see Banff and Glacier NP. We drove across eastern Washington and spent the night on Coeur'dalene ID. From there we drove north up the western side of the Canadian Rockies. We crossed over and spent a week in Banff where we met up with David, Ginger, Rachael, and Michael. Then we drove south to Glacier MT. and then back home. It was a wonderful trip. Eastern Washington is a desert it reminded me of parts of New Mexico.

Debbie's Flowers

Debbie outdid her self this year with a flower garden. It bloomed all year long.

DC Trip

While we were in DC, we got a private tour of the Capitol building (thanks to a friend). The girls enjoyed it, John had to do a quick trip to Paris.

Falling Water

While we in PA for a Wedding, we went to see Falling Water - Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece. We saw a lot of similarity with Talliasen West in construction material and technique. His spaces are some warm and inviting.

Backyard Lights

Now that the patio is done, I put out some accent lighting.
