Choir workshop

Catherine attended a choir work shop out in Manassas today. Then we all drove out there to watch their performance. After we got home, we wandered around the lake and took a few pictures.

Canoeing

The girls and I went canoing - we had the lake mostly to ourselves; guess we got spring fever early. Then caroline modeled her warm bellie's swim suit. She gets too cold in the pool up here and this lets her stay in the water longer w/o turning blue.

Choir

Catherine's sang in the Choir and Rang bells today in church.

Arts and Industries

We took the kids to the mall and went through the Arts and Industries museum. It has seasonal exhibits that are always very interactive. This time it has a butterfly tent, Orchids, and a Texas Exhibit. The kids had a good time seeing and doing. Then we went down to the sunken sculpture garden, and finished the day on the carousel.

Alexandria St. Patricks Day parade

We didn't have much to do so we took the kids to the Alexandria St. Patricks day parade. Catherine decided they didn't throw nearly as much stuff as Mardi Gras. We liked the irish wolf houd group and the dancing girls.
