Around Town

Hard to believe that fall is already here, summer just ended. We were out around town last weekend. We went to Magnason park and checked out the flower garden, and then went to an Octoberfest in Freemont. We skipped the beer garden and went into the chocolate store. On our way home a hot air balloon was landing and it lit up like a light bulb

Mom and Dad's visit

Mom and Dad came for a visit the first week of September. We did a lot of visiting and were able to fit in a little sight seeing. We stopped by McWhirter farm one day. We went to Chateau Ste. Michelle winery which was celebrating its 40th anniversary with a festival; rumor has it that Debbie took mom to a wine tasting. We made it out to the Ballard Locks to see the Salmon going up the fish ladder. And we put them to work packing up our kitchen in preparation for the construction work beginning. It was a short visit but we had a really good time. They went on to see Montana and Yellowstone.
