Every type of weather this weekend

We want spring to stay! We have had every type of weather this weekend. Friday we had snow showers, Saturday we had sun and rain and more snow; and Sunday it was cloudy with flurries til the sun broke out. After Catherine's swim meet Saturday, we ran errands and did odds and ends. Sunday it was sunny all afternoon, so Caroline climbed a tree, and I grilled. Then just when we though we had seen it all it started raining slush, and then we had a few flashes of lightening.
Everything is ready for spring, we just need the weather to cooprate.

Bainbridge Island

It was a really nice day - 70 and clear. So we took the ferry over to Bainbridge Island. We went to a state park on the north side of the island and played on the beach. Then we drove over to Poulsbo where we set out side and had some fish and chips at Eagle Harbor.

The Farm

We stopped by McWhirter farm to see the animals. There were are few new baby goats, and the girls visited with the horses they road last summer.

Whidbey Island

We took the ferry across to Whidbey island. We stopped at a quaint little winery, and then we wandered around Langley. It was a cute little town. Then we took the ferry back and ate overlooking the water.
