6th Grade Graduation

Congratulations Catherine for graduating the 6th grade, and receiving the Maggie Windus Service award. The assembly was very nice, with Mr. Pollock and Scott performing part of the ceremony. Debbie handed out the community service awards for the community service project she had ran. The 6th grade teachers honored Catherine and 2 other students for a service award. Catherine was the ‘buddy’ for a kindergarten boy with autism, she made an extra effort to work with him and include him. We didn’t know about her work until the boys mother told Debbie how good Catherine was with him. We have never been more proud.

The 6th graders also had a big party at a nearby park. Debbie organized it, and the kids had a really good time. The theme was based on the TV show survivor.
