Perfect afternoon for a canoe ride

It was a nice afternoon for a canoe trip. We all got in the canoe and paddled around. There were allot of boats out on the water. Usually its just me and the girls, so it was an extra treat for Debbie to come along. She got out at the garden and walked home so she could start dinner. Then the girls and I made our way back to beach 1 where they played around for a while.

First day of school

Both girls had a really good day and seem to like their new teachers. Catherine didn't have any anxiety, and knew several kids in her class. Caroline got right back into the groove, and is in class with a few kids from last year. She didn't have any problems at lunch either. All in all, a good first day.

Lazy Labor Day

We enjoyed the last day of freedom before school started. We had a lazy Labor day and wandered down to the garden. Caroline picked up rocks, and played with Catherine and Alise.

It was a nice evening for a walk by the lake. We stopped for a picture or 2.
